Applicants must meet the following minimal criteria before applying:

●South African citizen,
●Currently in Matric,
●Will be in their first year of study in the upcoming year,
●Minimum average of 75% for Mathematics,
●Minimum average of 70% for Physical Science,
●Minimum average of 70% for English FAL OR 60% for English HL,
●Minimum overall average of 70%,
●Proven financial need and unable to secure a loan (except for NSFAS),

Preferably be studying at one of the following tertiary institutions: University of Cape Town, University of Stellenbosch, University of Johannesburg, University of Pretoria, University of the Witwatersrand, University of KwaZulu-Natal or Rhodes University.
